Our dog pregnancy calculator is based on a fact that gestation in dogs lasts for about 63 days (almost two months). We need to remember that nature often doesn’t adhere to strict rules, in reality this period may vary from 58 to even 68 days. Our detailed pregnancy timeline will give you important date markers to keep you informed as to her progress.

Dog Breeding Licence Pack
Furrypeeps provide breeding licence packs, based around the written requirements of the 2006 Animal Welfare Act and the Defra guidance as amended in February 2022. The paperwork although not United States specifics has also been successfully used in some states in the US to obtain a breeding licence.
Our pack includes over 50 documents covering the recording requirements needed to secure a Local Authority Breeding Licence. It includes plans, record sheets, contracts and risk assessments. All required to get a minimum standard breeding licence.

The Record sheet allows you to log on a dog by dog basis the amount of exercise and the type of exercise for instance ‘Off lead walk’ or ‘Canicross’ by date. This record sheet is required to be completed by your Local Authority in order to be obtain a licence.
